Purposes of processing

Personal data will be used to:

  • Process the registration and subscription of the data subject in the PcComponentes Marketplace;
  • Ensure the proper development and operation of the activity in the Marketplace;
  • Process and manage purchasing and after-sales services and customers’ rights.
  • Ensure compliance with the contractual obligations assumed by the data subject.
  • Send communications and carry out commercial prospecting in relation to services offered by PcComponentes.
Requirement to provide data

The requested personal data is a necessary requirement to subscribe to the registration contract in the PcComponentes Marketplace. If it is not provided by the data subject, PcComponentes informs that the request to register in the Marketplace will be rejected.

Legal basis for processing

The data will be processed on the basis of the performance of a contractual relationship.
Likewise, once the contractual relationship has ended, the data will be used to safeguard buyers’ rights on the basis of the consent given by the data subject by ticking the corresponding box.

Recipients

The data may be disclosed to:

  • Public administrations to which we must provide information in order to comply with our legal obligations.
  • In legally established cases, such as law enforcement agencies.
  • Entities and companies in the energy sector, with prior consent.
  • Entities providing investigation, detection and fraud prevention services, as well as minimising the risk of fraud, based on the legitimate interest recognised by applicable regulations.
  • Banking entities when necessary on the basis of contract performance.
  • Buyers who purchase products from your store through the Marketplace to ensure the exercise of buyers’ rights, in accordance with applicable regulations.

The data will not be subject to international data transfers.

Retention

The data will be kept for the duration of the contractual relationship and subsequently for a period of three years from the last order delivered by the data subject, for the purpose of safeguarding buyers’ rights on the basis of a legal obligation. Afterwards, the data will be duly blocked for up to the limitation period for legal actions. Once this period has elapsed, the data will be deleted.

Data subject rights

The data subject has the following rights:

  • Request information about the personal data stored concerning them (access).
  • Request the correction of inaccurate personal data (rectification).
  • Request the deletion or restriction of the processing of their personal data (erasure and restriction).
  • Request that their personal data be provided in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format (portability).
